Well hello! I see you might be back for more of my exciting series, Easy Christmas Treats. This is the second and, well, final installment of the series.
Okay, so it’s not much of a series. At all. But I had a couple of super-ridiculously-easy treats I wanted to share with y’all, and so here you go.
Today we’re talking white chocolate and Oreo cookies, all mushed together and made into a heavenly bark. Easy, delicious and festive.
This gingerbread cookie recipe from Martha Stewart is a definite winner. Perfectly spiced gingerbread cut into tree shapes, then glazed with a little lemon and powdered sugar mixture and then sprinkled with coarse sugar for a little extra sparkle … this is one case where it’s okay to see the forest for the trees. (I never really understood what that meant, anyway.)
I have no idea if this recipe truly originates from Dolly, but if it did, thank you Dolly! Not only are you a super cool chick, but you gave me my go-to recipe for sugar cookies for going on probably 10 years now.
