Chocolate and strawberries. Strawberries and chocolate. A natural pair. MFEO. Peas in a pod. And perfect for today.
I think you’re looking at the perfect breakfast to whip up for your Valentine this morning. Or any morning, really. It’s chocolatey – oh, so chocolatey – but it also boasts a nice, big dose of healthy, juicy strawberries along with vanilla yogurt, a little orange juice, and a dash of vanilla.
It tastes just like a chocolate-covered strawberry. Just, you know, one that you drink with a straw.
I think I’m in love.

Chocolate Strawberry Smoothie
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups fresh strawberries
- 1/2 cup lowfat vanilla yogurt
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/2 cup ice cubes
- 2 tablespoons chocolate syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Place all ingredients in a blender and puree until smooth. Pour into glasses and serve with a straw.
Yummy!
I wish I was at home with my blender right now so I could make this! I pinned it to my breakfast board, and I WILL be making these when I get home. It looks too good to pass up!
Mmmmm! Can’t wait to try this one. I love chocolate covered strawberries.
Love it! I’ve been on a smoothie kick lately, so I might have to add this one to my regular rotation. 🙂
Me too! Total smoothie kick. They’re pretty much the best invention ever. Other than the iPhone.
This is AMAZING! Why the heck haven’t I made this combo yet? you are a genius!

perfect combination great for kids and adults, everybody enjoyed.
It’s really good with half fresh, half frozen strawberries, also dolci chocolate with chocolate chips. I didn’t have orange juice so I used some Sunkist. It is so good!
Not good at all! OJ totally overpowered it!!!
I make this with dark chocolate almond milk & fat free Greek yogurt. So yummy. 🙂
