I guess there’s no hiding it. I’m pretty much obsessed with hot drinks made in the Crock Pot.
I can’t help myself. They’re so wonderfully hands-off, especially when it comes to this recipe. Pour all the ingredients in, give ’em a stir, wait a couple of hours. Then turn your Crock Pot to low and enjoy wonderful hot drink after hot drink all day long if you want. All day! For a heckuva lot less than it costs for the same thing at Starbucks! Yay Crock Pot!
Sorry. I’m a little caffeinated. Because Crock Pot eggnog lattes? Yeah, they’re really, really addictingly delicious. Super rich, creamy, full of warming nutmeg and vanilla … (and coffee! Yay coffee!)
Thank goodness eggnog is only a December affair.
No whipped cream on these; I think they’re plenty rich without. But if you want to sneak some on top, I won’t stop you. In fact, I’ll cheer you on.
By the way, I stopped in at Starbucks to grab one of their eggnog lattes at the same time I was testing this recipe. Quality comparisons, it’s what I’m all about. This Crock Pot version is spot-on except the lattes are just a tad sweeter thanks to the 1/4 cup sugar I’ve added. If you like your lattes less sweet, consider reducing the sugar or leaving it out altogether.
Unrelated to this recipe specifically, I feel the need to point out that I’ve given in and started using “Crock Pot” in recipe titles instead of “Slow Cooker.” I know some slow cookers aren’t Crock Pots and I feel like I “slow cooker” is more … technically accurate (which is why I’ve been using that term instead of “Crock Pot” in the title). But you know what? Everyone calls it a Crock Pots! So I’m going to go with it. I’m rebelling against myself! Viva la … cooking things slow and using whatever words you want to describe them, self!

Crock Pot Eggnog Lattes
- 2 cups coffee (brewed triple strength)
- 3 cups eggnog
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 cup [url href="https://www.kitchentreaty.com/how-to-make-vanilla-sugar/"]vanilla sugar[/url] or regular granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon grated nutmeg plus additional for topping the drink (if desired)
- Add all ingredients to a 2.5-quart or larger Crock Pot.
- Cook on low for two hours, stirring occasionally, until piping hot.
- Reduce heat to warm setting to keep hot all day.

This looks delicious! My family and I would like to try this recipe, but we have never had eggnog…. do u have a recipe for us to use in this latte? I have been told it has some kind of alcohol in and as we don’t drink can eggnog be made without any alcohol in? Thank u so much for your help. :o)
Hi Dawn, I’ve actually never made eggnog from scratch, so I can’t help you! I always find it in the refrigerated section at Christmastime. And certainly you can make it w/o alcohol. I’m sure a quick google will turn up a great recipe for you. 🙂
Hi Dawn, I would suggest that unless you are an acommplished cook that you purchase the store bought egg nog found at most supermarkets from November thru January. Egg Nog is a difficult beverage to make involing cooked eggs and precise timing and straining. So unless you have lots of time and patience the store bought is so much quicker, easier, and very tasty. Most supermarket egg nog is acohol free, but can be bought at liquor stores and some supermarkets where allowed with acohol added, the Southern Comfort Brand is particularly good.
If I wanted to make this recipe with liquor for a holiday party, which liquor would you recommend and when would you add it into the recipe?
Hi Emily, a little rum is always nice with eggnog and hot drinks. Maybe a splash of bourbon, too? I’d add it right before serving. Let me know how it turns out! Boozy eggnog lattes sounds like a pretty fantastic idea to me!
