That's a wrap! These cute "mummies" are made super-simply with English muffins, string cheese, and olives. A quick brush with garlicky olive oil adds flavor. Garlic-cheesy mumminess!
Ingredients
3English muffinshalved
2tablespoonsextra-virgin olive oil
1medium garlic clovefinely minced
Pinchkosher salt
6string cheese sticksunwrapped and pulled into strips (go with part-skim for more defined lines)
3-4large black pitted olivessliced
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Lay English muffins cut-side up on a baking sheet.
In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, garlic, and salt.
Brush the olive oil mixture onto the English muffins.
Lay the cheese in strips along the top of the English muffin, leaving a gap where the eyes will go.
Add the olive "eyes."
Bake for about 5 minutes, until the cheese has melted and the edges of the English muffins are beginning to get golden brown. Serve.
